Brod Medel Calayag is from Gamma Omega Chapter Batch 1977 with ID# 9882. He graduated from MS Enverga University in 1981 with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Commerce, Major in Management. He met his wife Marilyn at Lyceum of Batangas Graduate School in 1984 while taking their MBA degrees. They got married in February 1986 with two children, Warrentt & Jenny, and has two grandchildren, ages 7 & 5.

 

During his heydays in the Philippines in the early 1990s, he worked as a District Manager at a multi-national company, and was a consistent awardee year after year.  He was also an active leader of numerous civic and religious organizations during his younger years in Lipa City, Batangas before immigrating to the United States.

 

Medel immigrated to Seattle, Washington in 1999 with Marilyn and worked as a Mortgage Banker for more than ten years, then became a licensed Real Estate Broker for over twenty years. Although semi-retired, Medel still finds himself working as a licensed Real Estate Broker.

 

He is currently serving as a Servant Leader of the Missionary Families of Christ Washington and an active member of the Greater Washington Alpha Phi Omega. He is also an avid golfer and a member of the Pinoy Golf Club of Washington State (WAPINOY Golf Club). With his acumen in golf, Medel is serving as the Chair of the 2nd APO ACNA President’s Cup Golf Tournament on August 31 – September 1, 2023 to be held in Seattle, Washington.
